In the SSI Basic Diver program, you will learn the skills and knowledge you need to try diving up to 12 meters deep with an SSI Professional. It is a great way to explore the underwater world more fully as you try diving. The entire Basic Diver program can be credited towards the Scuba Diver or Open Water Dive programs within 6 months, so you can take the next step in your dive adventure.

The Introduction to Scuba Divind SSI Basic Diver (ISO 11121) is ideal for those interested in taking a diving certification course, but want to have the experience of diving before committing to the full course. It is an experience with two dives - the first adaptation dive, with the performance of some exercises; and the second dive will be an exploration dive. At the end, a small exam is carried out and an internationally recognized certification is issued for diving with supervision, which can be used as a credit to obtain the SSI Open Water Diver level, within 6 months after the certification.
